Developed during the REVIS collaborative research project, TerOpta's Ambiex low-cost outdoor air quality sensor units, together with cloud-based monitoring software, make an affordable solution for companies and local authorities to perform high-density air quality and pollution monitoring in their area.

Multiple pollutants detected

Ambiex units monitor air quality in real-time at 5 minute intervals. Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), particulates (PM10, PM2.5) and atmospheric conditions (temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure) are included as standard, together with remaining battery capacity. Cloud-based real-time visualisation tools

Monitor air quality in real-time on any device using TerOpta's cloud-based graphical system, or simply use an API to ingest real-time data to your own system. Get instant email alerts when thresholds are exceeded.

Solar power option

TerOpta's Ambiex sensor units may be powered from either a mains electricity supply, via a suitable AC/DC converter, or from the optional Solar Energy Unit (SEU). Coupled with the cellular communications features of Ambiex, which eliminate the need for a local network connection, the use of solar power makes the Ambiex solution fully self-contained and usable anywhere, even in remote locations.

Technical Case Study

To check the accuracy and usability of the data from Ambiex low-cost air quality monitors, co-location studies are carried out to compare the results from the Ambiex system with those from adjacent reference sensors.
